It is the first initiative of its kind in photography and could set a new benchmark for legacy care among artists working in lens-based media.

Art Gallery of Ontario acquires more than 200 Peter Hujar photographs

Liste and Volta, both stalwart Basel satellite fairs, celebrate major anniversaries

When Liste Art Fair was founded in 1996, it was strictly for work by young artists, and the fair banned participating galleries from showing artists over the age of 40. Three decades later, the fair is older than many of the artists whose works fill its stands, although those age requirements have been loosened.
