Unfortunately, Vicente was murdered in 1968 at the age of 35, but the workshop persisted with the diablitos, and the genre is still a signature of Ocumicho ceramics today.

Ron Hitchins (1926-2019) was a British born artist, sculptor, and flamenco dancer whose life and soul was rooted in Hackney, East London from age 13. Ron Hitchins in front of one of his sculptures.
