Koons lobster snapped up amid day two sales at Art Basel

Hauser & Wirth reported the sale of Frank Bowling’s Iceni (1975) for $1.8m, adding that Felix Gonzalez-Torres’s “Untitled” (Go-Go Dancing Platform) (1991), priced at $16m, has been placed on “serious hold” for an institution. Berlin’s Galeria Plan B says it sold an untitled 2025 Adrian Ghenie painting for €1m.

A sale as old as time: Natural History Museum to display £450,000 dinosaur fossil after London gallery helps secure buyer

When David Aaron gallery first acquired the fossil, which was excavated in 2021-22 on the Skull Creek site in Moffat County, Colorado, it was thought the specimen was a Nanosaurus, considered one of the smallest dinosaurs of the Jurassic period. The donation is permanent and the skeleton is now on long-term view.
